To save a generation from the devastating impact of drugs and substance abuse by collectively transforming lives through advocacy, economic and social programs, and environmental conservation.
Why this work
Drug and substance abuse cuts across class, county, and campus. Young people need more than slogans—they need peers, skills, adults who listen, and communities that stay present after the awareness day ends.
Saving A Generation exists to make that presence practical: 12-week Champions Clubs, Pathways from day one, skills and conservation—named themes faith hosts and sponsors can own, not a black-box donate.
Approach
How we work
Three workstreams that reinforce each other—each with a door for schools, families, and partners.
- Advocacy — reduce stigma and keep youth voices in community and policy conversations.
- Economic & social programs — skills, sport, and mentorship that compete with idle time and harmful coping.
- Environmental conservation — tree planting and clean-ups that build stewardship and public pride.
